Learning and Teaching Initiatives 2011

In 2011 priority for Learning and Teaching Initiatives was given to:

  • Initiatives to enhance the embedding of graduate attributes within New Generation Degrees, particularly the attributes of Leaders in Communities, Attuned to Cultural Diversity and Active Global Citizens;
  • Initiatives to develop sustainable research, work and community engagement experiences within New Generation Degrees;
  • Initiatives to enhance learning and teaching through innovative and effective utilization of technology;
  • Initiatives to enhance graduate programs through the development of innovative, distinctive and effective pedagogies;
  • Initiatives to support sustainable improvements in the assessment of student work and an enhanced role for assessment in promoting and demonstrating student learning outcomes.

Grants were awarded in four rounds: One major grants round (grants up to $30,000) and three small grants rounds (grants up to $8000).
