Overview
The strategic objectives for the Academic Capacity and Careers portfolio are to develop an academic career framework that will structure and support the academic workforce to meet the current and future demands of the Growing Esteem Strategy 2015-2020 and ensure the University is the destination of first choice for high-calibre academics. This will be achieved by extending and enhancing institutional and academic norms of excellence in research, teaching, engagement and leadership, strengthening and supporting a broader range of academic roles and pathways and attracting, retaining, developing, advancing and rewarding outstanding traditional and non-traditional academic talent with diverse strengths.
